This site as first Published - 1st March 2005- was
concerned with the very strange coincidences contained within Dan Brown's
best-selling novel The Da Vinci Code. But
I had been working on the site since early January, 2005. Feore I
published it I had just begun to read Angels and
Demons the prequel to The Da Vinci Code.
One of the things that amazed me was that the idea had come to me to compare
our real life experiences with Dan Browm's second novel on an obelisk when
in fact obelisks are the heart of the plot in Angels and Demon.
And an obelisk is central to the story of the third Robert Langdon story,
the Lost Symbol, as I discovered in a singularly guided way in October,
2010. So this site has been extended by the addition of pages about
the other two novels, Nos 1 and 3.
Robertson's novel Futility of 1898 connected strangely with the loss of the
real RMS Titanic in 1912, so the fictional Da
Vinci Code has myriad cross-connections to real Codes in the real world,
The Alpha and Omega Codes
and our real story of Mary Magdalen. Elements of
appear to be quite definitely inspired. There are an uncanny number of cross-connections, some basic,
others very minor, but weaving together into a curiously intricate web which
is strongly suggestive of 'external' design. To read this original story on
this site, you can go to The da Vinci Code.
But it later became clear that there were powerful
elements of inspiration in both Angels and Demons and much later in The Lost
Symbol, so alternatively you can go to
Angels and Demons or The Lost Symbol.
